In previous posts, I wrote on how sicknesses and diseases came about and also the price for us to have sound health. The discussion for this post will be on why people are not receiving their healing.
Many people are in search of healing around the world. Everyone wants to be healthy. Without sound health, it is impossible to enjoy life to the fullest. It’s only people who are alive and well that can make significant progress in life. This shows how vital sound health is to us.
People have various beliefs about health. Some think it is impossible to be healthy while others believe that the reverse is the case. Some put all their trust in medical science and believe all the medical reports given to them by their doctors. A few have taken the
word of God as their final say. Whatever result one gets depends on what he/ she believes in and what steps are taken.
Thank God for medical science because some people would have been long gone without it. How about those who doctors have given the final verdict that there is no hope, is it fair for them to just die like that? Absolutely not. This points to the fact that even though God favours medical science, it’s still limited. Only God has the solution to all sicknesses and diseases, both the ones present and those yet to come. He is the only one that can heal, restore and replace what the devil may have stolen or destroyed.
Have you heard of the storehouse in Heaven? Well, i’ve not yet been there but people who have gone have spoken about it. What I’m familiar with is testimonies of people without womb (removed surgically by doctors) giving birth to multiple children. Also, a man whose heart was failing, after he received his healing and went for check up, tests showed that everything is perfect. I also heard of a man with bone marrow cancer who after taking the communion was healed miraculously.
Unfortunately, when people are given a death sentence by their doctors, they just wait to die believing it’s the final say. Some even think it’s their time to leave planet earth. Well, this is a lie from the pit of hell. As children of God, we are not meant to die from illnesses and disease. How would God who sent His only begotten son Jesus to deliver us through His death and resurrection from evil such as sickness, poverty, etc want us to die from such? It just doesn’t add up.
A number of people don’t receive their healing because;
- They believe their doctors more than God.
- Some are not children of God.
- Ignorance.
- Lack of faith.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today as a sinner, I surrender to you. Forgive me all my sins, wash me clean by your blood, and deliver me from the power of sin and death. I believe that you died for me and on the third day you rose again. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord, for delivering me from the power of sin and death. I am delivered, I am saved and now a child of God.
