What to do to see God’s promises come to pass

There is what to do to see the promises of God come to pass. I grew up in a Christian home, observing how older people behaved around me. listened to the Word of God and tried to figure out my way in life then I became aware of something.

Christianity seemed so difficult and hard. I saw people suffering. Some would say it’s God punishing them for their evil ways and unbelievers were making it. When I read the Bible, I realized that the promises of God concerning His children were not what I was seeing.

I then began to probe further and realized that there are things that we are meant to do to see the promises of God fulfilled in our lives. In essence, we have our part to play before we see the blessings of God in our lives. Knowledge can bail you out of a lot of things, the Bible says in Hosea 4: 6 that “my people perish for lack of knowledge.”

A major reason why people are still where they are is that they don’t know what rightfully belongs to them. Those that know are yet to play their part. Someone might ask, how do I know what promises God has for me? Well, it’s all in the Bible. Each of these promises has conditions attached to them. You need to fulfill these conditions before you can see results.

The kingdom of God operates with principles. For example, if you want to have true/pure riches from God, the Bible says you have to give to receive. Give your tithe, offerings, to the needy, etc. If you decide to pray and fast for kingdom wealth instead of giving, well you won’t see results. No wonder you can see a strong believer who when he prays, Heaven moves but he is still living in poverty.

The book of Revelation 5: 12 shows us what belongs to us in Christ. The reason why Christ died so we could have these wonderful gifts.
