Health and Healing
I heard a story about a man who had houses up to seven of them. He had worked hard to earn much money but at the end of the day, the man became sick. The sickness was terminal and cost a lot of money.
The man had to sell his properties including his houses to raise money for treatment. He sold all his houses and was left with one, the reason he didn’t sell the only one left was that he could not see the documents which would have resulted in him becoming homeless.
With all he sold, there was no improvement with his health. Thank God for Jesus because on a faithful day he encountered Jesus and was miraculously healed.
If his faith had been up earlier, he would not have had to sell his houses but at the same time, I bless God because he found out sooner and didn’t lose his life in the process. God is a God of all possibilities, all he lost could be replaced.
This reminds me of the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8: 43-48, she had spent all her earnings on physicians but there was no improvement until she met Jesus.
Jesus our healer
It’s only a healthy person that can enjoy his/ her money. Health is vital.
You don’t need to pay for sound health anymore because Jesus already did that. All you need to do is to know who you are in Christ, your right in Christ and take what belongs to you. This is done by properly positioning your faith and taking the Word of God concerning that area of your healing.
Let me enlighten you a bit just in case you don’t know. The first part of Hosea 4: 6 says, “my people perish for lack of knowledge.”
I don’t like being cheated that’s why I do what I can to avoid it by being aware of the situation, knowing what to do and doing it well. Let’s look at Ecclesiastes 10: 5 -7
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
If you read all of Ecclesiastes chapter 10, you will have an idea of what is being said. Lack of wisdom, lack of knowledge can make a rich man become poor, it is that powerful. It’s good to know that the Bible is the storage bank of wisdom.
Violent Faith
As easy as it seems, you can take your healing now all you need is your faith.
Have you ever got to a point where you are really angry about something and you are like, “okay, I have had enough of you, I can’t take it anymore get out……”, well I have.
I remember having this severe pain in my eye, it felt like my eyeball wanted to come off the socket. I had gone to the hospital but the doctors didn’t know what was going on, then on this faithful day, standing around a bus stop the pain started. When I screamed on the pain ( violent faith) instantly, I received my healing.
I got so angry that I screamed aloud for the pain to get out ( though people around me wondered if I was okay) and guess what? It did that very second.
Isaiah prophesying by the Spirit of God said in Isaiah 53: 4- (New Living Translation)
4) Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!
5) But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

Jesus was whipped so we could be healed and healed is past tense. So whatever sickness or Infirmity you are going through right now, has already been taken care of by Jesus, all you need is your faith to receive it.
Don’t look at anybody, that Mr. A or Mrs. B tried it and it didn’t work for them or that your pastor tried it and it didn’t work for him does not mean it will not work for you.
You have no idea what level of faith they had when they tried it, just play your part and when you overcome, share the good news with them so that their faith can come up.
Matthew 8: 17 confirmed what was spoken by prophet Isaiah which says;
This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said,
“He took our sicknesses
and removed our diseases.”

Dealing with sicknesses and diseases
You don’t nurse sickness, you should really get mad at it because it is an abnormality, it’s not meant to be there at all.
There are sometimes after we’ve received the healing then the symptoms start and it feels like it’s all coming again, don’t give in to the devil all he wants from you is fear and doubt.
He wants you to begin doubting that any healing even occurred in the first place. At this point, let your faith come alive, fix your gaze on Jesus, not the symptoms and you will be shocked how it will go back the way it came.
I have had instances when the symptoms appeared but honestly, I didn’t even pay any attention to it. After a few secs. or min, the symptoms disappeared. If I had fear or doubt during that time, it would have been an entirely different story.
Now, there is nothing bad about taking medications or going to the hospital, it all depends on the level of your faith, it depends on you.
Final note
We are encouraged to build our faith by studying the word of God, reading Christian books on issues of concern to us and also listening to Christian tapes. When your faith gets full, you’ll be able to overcome that situation. The perfect will of God is way better than the permissive will of God.
I’m not saying this just because I have to say it, I have been putting this into practice in my life and it has been working for me.
There is no harm in trying, it’s not like you have to perform any ritual to make it work, no all you need is your faith, everything depends on you which is very interesting.
