One mystery we have in the kingdom of God is speaking boldly. Not many people believe in this mystery. The direction in which one’s destiny is being driven is determined by what has been said or what is being said.

God spoke all we can see into existence. In Genesis 1, we can see a number of places where God said and what He said came to pass. God saw it just the way He wanted it.

The mouth is very powerful. Adam, being the first man God created, gave names to the animals and that’s what they bear up till this day. We’ll see what Jesus said in

Matthew 21: 21:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. From this passage, you have to say before you can see.

As I wrote earlier in the previous post about speaking boldly, the basis for bold speaking is faith. Faith is necessary when speaking to your life and destiny.

Mark 11: 23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Jesus did not say he shall have whatsoever he believeth but whatsoever he saith. This means in addition to your believing, you also need to say.

The mouth is a very powerful weapon both spiritually and physically. It can create beautiful destinies and also destroy one’s hard labor.

Ecclesiastes 5: 6

Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

This passage says it all. Be cautious of what comes out of your mouth, use your mouth to build your destiny by speaking positively into the future. Although you may not see any changes immediately, it’s only a matter of time before changes come.

Speaking can also prolong or shorten one’s life. If you are the type of person, when faced with danger the first thing that comes out of your mouth is a negative word, this is very risky and could actually kill one faster.

1 Peter 3: 10 says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile”:

Speaking has a lot to do with a number of things people know little about. As one speaks in faith, things begin to change and fall appropriately into place. Keep speaking, never doubting and let God take charge.

Sometimes when one starts speaking, the level of faith may be low or one might have doubts but be persistent, don’t stop. As one begins speaking to that situation, in a matter of time one begins believing what they are actually saying resulting in a strong drive. Subconsciously, one’s faith regarding the situation begins to increase. This will make God step in and work things out for you.

Before I end, there is something important I’ll like to add. It is important that you accept Jesus into your life if you haven’t and let Him be your personal Lord and Saviour. If you are in this category, join me in the salvation prayer.
