Once we receive our healing, it’s important that it remains with us. The reason being that the devil will want to take it away. I have heard stories of how people get healed, later it came back and the person ended up dying from it. What happened?
Reasons why people lose their healing
- They are no longer children of God or have left the faith.
- Fear has set in. Fear is pushing the faith level low and doubt is also in the building.
To retain your healing, you have to remain in God. You can’t receive something from God and then go on serving baal. It’s a very risky thing to do. In God, one is protected from all darts of the enemy. Once sin sets in and one continues in his/ her sin, the devil will have the upper hand in that person’s life. This makes it quite easy for one’s healing to be lost.
Fear which is the second reason why people lose their healing can occur even in believers. Just as faith is a weapon for believers in Christ, fear is the weapon the devil uses to perpetrate his wickedness. Sometimes, after one has been healed, he/ she may start to notice the symptoms again. This is what the devil uses to see if he can gain entrance again. If one falls for it and becomes scared, then the person is indirectly giving the devil permission to step in.
When this happens, if you are able to use your faith and the word of God to tackle such a situation, removing your mind from if afterwards, then your victory is guaranteed. sometimes , just ignoring it will yield positive results on its own.
Friends, healing is real, health is real. Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory testified that for about 61 years, he didn’t know what headache felt like. This was after he was raised from the death bed. Miracles are not reserved for special people. God loves us equally but those who take responsibility are those who get desirable results. This is what makes one person different from the other.
