People still fear the devil and what he brings because they don’t have a healthy relationship with the true God. This has nothing to do with being religious and going to church.

The Word of God says in Philippians 4: 13 that, “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. While this is true for some believers, others don’t believe it or can’t see the reality in their lives.

People are going through unimaginable things in this world. Physical, psychological, emotional name it. I want you to know that whatever the case may be, you are coming out even stronger than before. These are not mere words but the truth.

Things happening around the world don’t make it easier but a way out is what we seek. We need solutions urgently and desperate times require desperate measures (I’m saying this in a good way).

Way Forward

After asking many questions and trying things that didn’t work, one will finally come to the conclusion that only a higher power can intervene. Why not come to the highest power, higher than all other powers in the world. Come to Jesus who is the first and the last, beginning and the end, author and finisher of our faith.

Those who have a relationship with God enjoy victory every day of their lives. I try hard to explain this without seeming religious. Having a relationship with God is not about whether you go to church or not. Going to church is important but having a relationship with your Heavenly Father is way more important. You can speak to Him about anything, what others may consider irrelevant, He sees it as important. He does not see any shame about anything you ask Him. 

when you feel down and out, He is there to help you and bring you back to your feet.

About the Trinity

We have the Trinity, God the Father who is the God of all the earth. His works are seen in the old testament as He was very much present with them and is also with us. Remember the diverse encounters Moses had with Him.

God the Son is Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God (John 3: 16). he came to earth in the form of a man with a mission to die for the sins of men. His act brought back reconciliation between God and man as it was before Adam sinned. As a result of this, no man can have access to God the Father without passing through Jesus Christ ( John 14: 6). In essence, we are able to come to God boldly without having any priest or prophet intercede on our behalf because of what Jesus has done for us. The account of Jesus is seen in the old testament.

Presently we have the Holy Ghost (Spirit) who is the third person in the trinity. He is the Spirit of God the Father and Jesus Christ. As much as He is a Spirit, He is also a person. He speaks, directs, and does many wonderful things for us. 

Before Jesus left, He promised to send the Holy Spirit (John 14: 15- 17, 26). The Holy Ghost came to earth on the day of Pentecost in the upper room (Acts 2). Since then, He has remained with us on earth and will leave with the saints when the rapture takes place. The reason why the earth is still bearable and the devil has not taken over is because of His presence.

Your relationship with God

Now, a number of people are not taking advantage of the gift God has given us. this is more about living a fulfilling life both on earth and in heaven than being religious. We can’t live life to the fullest and fulfill destiny without the help of the Holy Spirit. yes, you might believe you are doing exceptionally well on earth but how about the more important one, eternity?

The Holy Spirit is in every child of God and not just any believer who speaks in tongues. The level at which you engage Him determines how fruitful and fulfilling your life becomes.

Have you noticed that some Christians who haven’t received the gifts of speaking in tongues are able to follow instructions given to them by God while some who are tongue-speaking believers, Pastors, Apostles, Prophets still miss direction? This shows that it’s all about our personal relationship with God. How we communicate with God when no one is looking. Speaking in tongues is wonderful, it makes life easier but having God recognize you as His child is what enables one make it to Heaven. 

This shows how important it is to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit by knowing and walking with Him. When you walk with the Holy Spirit, He makes you know God the Father and God the Son in a deeper level because they are 3 in 1.

In bad times, when the whole world is afraid and shaking, you will remain calm because you know very well that your Heavenly Father is with you. Don’t wait for something bad to happen to you before you develop a relationship with your Heavenly Father, start now.
