Look up!!! what do you see?
Let’s take a look at some things people are going through.
There are days we bend our heads in shame, in frustration in difficulties but you have the chance to look up. So why don’t you?
Well, it’s not easy to look up because it feels so heavy, my neck hurts when I try to do so. I actually tried looking up but didn’t see anything. In fact, I have been trying to look up because people say there are lots of good things upward but I just can’t see anything. It’s all blank. The skies are blurry, everything is getting darker by the day.
I have to pretend that everything is okay, I smile when I honestly don’t want to. I’m just moving and still don’t understand how my body is carrying itself. You just need to keep moving, you just need to keep going. Something good will come out of this, don’t give up you are almost there.
Why are people not listening to me? I’m getting tired. Why are people not seeing me, it’s hard here? When I call for help, people keep moving like nothing is happening.
When I scream out loud, no one hears me. Who do I turn to for help? The people I thought could help are nowhere to be found. In my deepest time of need, they turned their backs against me. What have I done to deserve all this? Who can truly understand what I’m going through when no one can hear me.
In this dark and lonely world, it feels so lonely. Even though I preach hope do I see it? I smile, I jump almost every day but there is a deep void in me. There is a war taking place in my mind that no one can see. If no one can see this, then how can I receive help? If I get the courage to tell anyone, they will never believe me because what is happening within me is totally different from what everyone sees. It seems one is beginning to have multiple personalities.
I am this person this minute, the next time I am someone totally different. Who will notice what is really happening in my life? It feels really dark. They say, “there is light at the end of the tunnel”, is that really true? Because I am yet to see that light. When will it be my turn? when will my story change? Will it end this way?
People come and say this, people preach that but it’s getting tiring. I need proof, I need evidence I am tired of mere words, I want to experience this. When will that time come?
Trouble here and there, am I the only person on planet earth? Why is this all happening to me? Who do I turn to? People don’t want to associate with me because they believe there is a curse somewhere, is this really true?
Answer
Look up, there is light at the end of the tunnel. You may not see it well but you need to look deeper. Once you get a glimpse of the light, it will begin to spread all over and before you know it, it will be all around you. This doesn’t end there because the reason for accessing this light is to get people around you lighted.
In the world of darkness, light is of necessity. In order to move from place to place, light is needed. Without light, there could be a catastrophe, people will be bumping into each other. Look up and press till you get that light. Stop complaining, stoping placing a death tag on yourself through self-pity, stop setting deadly traps for yourself, just look up.
Stop bothering about where help will come from because something is playing out in your favour, just look up. When you do, it’ll become clear and you will begin to see light in every dark corner until you are totally lighted and light everyone around you.
