When someone gets healed or is restored, this is known as a miracle. I have noticed that the number of people getting healed are less than those who die from the sickness. But why is this? Do they have something that others don’t have? Are they more special than others? So many questions to ask.
Each and everyone of us are responsible for the outcomes of our lives. Until you take something personal, you may not get the result you desire. Remember that the kingdom of God suffereth violence and only the violent can take it by force. This means that one really needs to go all out to receive one’s healing. Determination is key. Thank God for showing us what to do.
Rules to be followed
- Be born again
To access your healing from the creator of the universe, you will need to go through His son Jesus Christ. Why is that? Because His son was the sacrificial lamb that closed up the gap that was between man and God. He brought back everything we lost through sin. Only through Jesus are we able to have direct access to The Father. Now, we are not only heirs of The Father but also joint heirs with Jesus.
- Build your faith.
Just as getting rich on earth requires kingdom principles (e.g giving) and earthly principles (hard work), receiving your healing requires faith and determination. Faith is believing that God has already done something without seeing it. Hebrews 11: 1 gives us the biblical definition of faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is at levels and has capacity for growth. You receive your healing once your faith level measures up. Jesus on several occasions told those who were sick that it was according to their faith. Faith is the spiritual hand that we use in receiving things into the physical realm. We can grow our faith by meditating on the Word of God especially areas relating to healing. Search for testimonies of people who had the same illness, look for what they did in line with the Word of God and do it. Also, listen to Christian tapes , read books on healing.
- Determination
This is what keeps you going when it doesn’t look like anything is happening. Sometimes healing comes instantly but other times, we may need more faith to receive it. At times it might even look like symptoms are getting worse, in such cases rejoicing because your healing is near. What you see is all distractions from the pit of hell.
A healing minister whom I learnt a lot from listening to his tapes is Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory. If you have access to his recordings, I encourage you to listen to them. The difference will be clear afterwards.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today as a sinner, I surrender to you. Forgive me all my sins, wash me clean by your blood, and deliver me from the power of sin and death. I believe that you died for me and on the third day you rose again. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord, for delivering me from the power of sin and death. I am delivered, I am saved and now a child of God.
