Health is wealth they say. As far as you are healthy, the sky is your limit. A large number of people are suffering from a series of health conditions. Doctors have told some that they have to live with it all their lives. While some are termed terminal health conditions, others are called chronic diseases.
The good news about this is, there is hope. One can have a fresh start in life without any of these conditions attached to one’s life. For this to happen, you have a part to play in fact you are solely responsible for the outcome you get.
What to do is so simple that people don’t believe it and this makes them remain on the same spot. Remember the Word of God tells us in 1 Corinthians 2: 14 that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them because they are Spiritually discerned. Also, Paul speaking in 2 Corinthians 11: 3 talks about the simplicity that is in the gospel.
In essence, what to do to get out of that difficult, terminal, chronic sickness/ disease is quite simple but one will need to get his/ her spirit alive.
Operating spiritually and physically
Humans operate so naturally that we even sometimes forget that we originally spirits. It is very possible to operate in the spiritual and physical realm, in fact, that’s how God created us to operate. God our Father is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4: 24).
Even though it is as simple as commanding the sickness to go by the Word of God, it is important that we work on our inner man (the spirit) because it is our spirit man that makes our word potent. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12: 34b).
Health: When you’ve prayed for healing but no change is noticed
Where am I going with this? Well, all I am trying to say is, for healing to take place, your faith must be able to match up. It’s very easy to say you have faith but do you believe that the sickness and disease were already paid for by Jesus? Why do you have to pay for something that has already been taken care of? Matthew 8: 17, Isaiah 53: 4. I believe that not all Christians believe this and that is the reason they are not seeing significant changes.
Way forward for living in health
It is the hand of faith one uses to receive his/her healing and if you are ready to do so, you can follow these steps.
1) Become a child of God by being born again (Salvation).
2)Ask God for forgiveness and forgive those who have offended you.
3)Begin to study the Word of God on healing, read how Jesus healed people in the new testament, listen to testimonies of healing, learn about the apostle of faith and their miracles e.g Kenneth Hagin, Smith Wigglesworth, etc. As you do this, you will begin to build your faith.
4)Always give God praise, allow God’s joy to become your strength.
- God heals and He also replaces body parts that have been destroyed. There is nothing impossible with Him.
It is also important to add that even if you don’t see a change at the moment, never ever give up because once your faith is in place, no devil can stop your healing from getting to you, it’s impossible.
